Chinese/Cantonese Text-to-Speech

The English Text-to-Speech engine is the build in narrator of Windows XP and Vista. There is also a Chinese/Cantonese Text-to-Speech engine build in the Chinese version of XP and Vista. My proj. is simple, make a program to read Chinese Text in Mandarin and Cantonese Chinese. I like a program that is similiar to Speech Chinese [login to view URL] The proj. is basically straight forward b/c the speech engine is provided free from the above demo software and from Microsoft [login to view URL] Also the narrator engine is available in chinese version of XP and Vista. So if you can get me the chinese narrator for windows is also satisfactory. I like a more programmable narrator so this proj. and those prog. I listed are usually free or cheap. Two things. 1. I like to be able to highlight text and right click it and select a submenu to read the chinese-mandarin and chinese-cantonese. 2. I also like to paste it in TextPad window and have it read it while highlighting each word as read and control speed of reading and volume. Its relatively straight forward b/c you can find codes for right clicking with submenu and function on highlighted text and textpad codes are everywhere. code on how to program text-to-speech narrators are also abundant for english.
