Add advertising column and pull down menu to Invision forums

We use the Invision Power Board forum software and need two additions to our site. The first is we a 164 pixel column down the left-hand side of the following: Forum Index and Topic View. We would like for the rest of the page to be elastic; where the only fixed-width part of the board is the 164 pixel column down the side. We also need a horizontal drop down menu bar that we can put links into for other sites. Both of these features need to be easy to administer in terms of being able to change the advertisements and links. Also, the side bar should interface with Invision so that only certain groups see the advertisements.
