Paid on delivery
This MS Access database application is already in place and in use. It needs to be modified to meet new criteria.
The client company provides bespoke soft furnishings. The database tracks all orders from quotation to finished product and calls on large tables of fabrics and other variable inputs in order to build a cost-accounted model of the finished product prior to generating work-in-progress reports etc.
Currently, the system comprises 3 separate MDB files: a front-end and two data stores. The new system will build on the existing application and may be required to integrate with EPOS systems in order to monitor stock levels etc.
The current files can be made available subject to a NDA but they only compress down to 20MB (this is MS Access after all).
Bids are invited initially to establish a foundation for progress i.e. I envisage having to expand on the specification after discussion with coders who understand these things far better than I do. If this job was a doddle, I'd do it myself!
## Deliverables

Please note that this project is temporarily on ice because the client is thinking of changing the spec. I need to get more info, but it may be that we use a SQLserver app and/or transfer the whole thing to a web-based front-end. If the new job fits a PHP/MySQL scenario, then I may be able to do it myself. If not, then it will be re-auctioned here. Please accept my apologies for this - sometimes users just don't behave as you'd want them to! Keep an eye out for the new specification whenever I post it up, and thanks for your interest.

## Platform
MS Access on Windows XP. The deliverable must be MDB files so that the client can take this database to other coders in the future if required.
