Job: Write a world class AI player for the game of Bridge. Requirements: 1. Written in C/C++ 2. Will be used on Windows Xp/Vista, Mac OS X and linux. 3. Must compile with Visual Studio 2005 on Windows and GCC 4 on linux and Mac 4. Must play Bridge at a high level of play 5. Must use conventions, bot should support multiple common conventions and be easy to add new conventions. At a minimum it should support SAYC Basic, SAYC Full, Classic Standard 6. Have multiple difficulty levels: Easy, Medium, Hard. 7. Not to cheat. AI can keep track of cards that has been played. But has no ability to peak at other players cards. 8. Be reasonable fast. On easy it should make a move in less then a second. On Hard it may take up to 15 seconds on a Pentium 4 2.4ghz. 9. Be small file size, less then 100k. It preferably shouldn't be dependent on any external libraries, if it will be please let us know 10. Use reasonable amount of ram at runtime. Less then 10 megabytes. 11. Fine tune AI, beta versions of the AI may be tested by our players to gather feedback. We'll forward this feed back to you for fine tuneing. 12. AI must be able to join and play after a game has started. If any of these requirements are unreasonable let us know in your proposal. What you will be provided: A test version of the Windows version of the game that loads the AI as a seperate DLL. (Note in the release version the code will be compiled into the main DLL). You will be given the source code for the AI dll Please answer these questions: List experience directly related to AI programming. What is your bridge playing skill-level? What methods will you use to create the AI?
## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
