Changes to DB Import Utility

In need of upgrading our custom DB import [login to view URL] utility currently looks for ZIP files (filled with images) in a subfolders, and fetches data from couple of source databases, and then makes the insert on the target DB and extracts the images from the ZIP. Currently works perfectly, but takes time to execute. Need to optimize by detecting changes in folders rather than processing all the files every time it runs. This means, it will scan for changes and import the new/changed files. Also, need to add flexibility to add specific records or groups of records. Utility must generate change objects, or an accurate description of what was changed, as before & after, and create an XML log & HTML report of changes detected. It must also send an HTML formatted email when specific errors occur, and also a completion report of what was deleted, inserted, and updated. Upon selection of freelancer, will provide full source code for programming. Code is very straightforward, as it just scans subfolders, extract images from zip files, fetches details from 2 source databases, and inserts the newly formed record into a target DB.
