In short, a simple android application that could stream media from storage located on a Wireless Router preferably using UPnP (Universal Plug & Play Protocol) and play it using local Android Media Player of the Mobile phone. The project has only 3 screens - Welcome and Login Screen (using Facebook API only) - Directory & Sub Directory Screen (to display all media content available classified by folders on storage device) - User Profile Page (With log-out option) The router to be used will have the following: 1. USB port to mount a storage device (cloud be a thumb drive/SSD/HDD) 2. Running DLNA/UPnP server to expose the media content through Wifi to provide application a designated ip address to discover the content.
