Haddock Invention ([login to view URL]) is a small invention company that develops disruptive technologies in the clean energy, clean water, and green packaging sectors. iOS App Developer We're looking for a part-time iOS app development contractor to develop a functioning demo of a new iOS app which will run on a dedicated iPad mini. This app will be communicating with a machine over Bluetooth, so any experience with Bluetooth-enabled apps is a plus. This app will also need to process credit card payments via Square. This job is expected to take around 30-40 hours of development time, and it may lead to other development gigs in the future. Note: We've a graphic designer and full mechanical and electrical hardware team in place already, so this gig is strictly for development of an app that can run on an iPad mini and communicate with a machine as per our designer's UI requirements. This app will be used in a series of private closed-session demos and the app will not immediately be made available on the App Store, so MFI approval will not be needed at this stage. The only thing required for this position is a solid portfolio with a minimum of 2 years iOS app development experience, preferably with some experience using an iOS device to control or receive commands over Bluetooth.
