Need to be able to dect a user's USB peripheral when a user visits my site. There doesn't have to actually be any commication between the device and my site, just to able to see information about it that would be available in Device Manager (most importantly, the name). Also, it is fine if some security message pops up asking the user permission, however this can be at MOST 1 screen, with 1 total click (basically just so that the user doesn't get frustrated having to click through multiple sequences to get this to work). Other than that, you can use any method you choose.
