C-B4 is locking to extend aerogear-unifiedpush-server and allow Casandra based persistence support. Source code can be found here: [login to view URL] Implementaion should include the following: 1) Cassandra based connection pooling (Include Connection properties files) 2) Alternative implementation to any class under [login to view URL] package (6 classes) using cassandra Query language (CQL) 3) Alternative unit-testing to any test found at [login to view URL] package (6 classes).

I am an experienced Java developer and architect, and I've worked previously on Cassandra 1.x and 2.x. I also know JPA, which is used here. In principle, this project is well defined. The only complexity is that the current schema requires joins, which are not supported in Cassandra. I am confident I can define a compatible alternative.
