Blog development with added features

Hi, We are trying to put up a blog related to activities happening in our small community. Here are more details about our requirement. We are basically aiming at a blog which can be handled by a non-techie user to update and maintain it. Our target is to get a website almost (or more like exactly) as engadget website would look. We would like to have all the features implemented by engadget including the exactly same template. That said, the main help we need is for the way we can maintain and update the blog/site. We want an admin option to the site (hidden from general viewers) through which we can get access to the list of articles on the site and other editable content. We can either update/edit/delete the articles and other content using a web interface. This is the content we want to update/edit/delete. 1. The short form of the article shown on main page. 2. The longer form of the article shown when i click on the article on main page. 3. Top stories represented by images in top of the page. 4. Ads on the page. To post a new article we need to have an option for title, content and images. When we add the title, content and images and post the article it should be able to update itself in the site automatically in a nice format. All the images should automatically be placed in a gallery view and stuff. For all the other editable stuff we need a similar easy web interface. We are also looking for the daily summary thing engadget provides. They use a time Vs. no. of comments plot showing each article with colored spots at the end of the day. And showing the top commented 5 stories updated dynamically on the right side of the site. So overall. I need a replica of engadget site with the main addition of providing an easy to update/edit interface for it. I need to be able to edit each and every content easily including placing of ads in the site, placing of hot topics on the topmost part of page indicated by images (as on engadget). We can edit the layout or plan if you can suggest us with something better. Please provide your bids and estimated time of completion for this requirement. Regards, Raghu
