I am looking to build an Events site focused on regular weekly events like TRIVIA NIGHTS, KARAOKE, POKER, BINGO and other such activities run in pubs and clubs. All users will be able to personally register to the site. Personal accounts can be used to leave reviews of events, upload photos, participate in discussion (through Facebook plugin) etc. New functionality can be added through the installation of "modules" on event pages, which may then add e-commerce opportunities later. Venue managers can then set up profiles for their venues, and delegate roles to their marketing managers. These profiles can then create EVENTS (like "Tuesday Trivia") which are searchable, and each of these event pages will also be editable to include the functionality for users. As the site is populated with new events, users will be able to select a TYPE of event ("Karaoke", "Trivia" etc.) and be presented with a list and map of events running near them that night. They can click on each listing to find out more information from the profile pages associated with each. We will also use the data on the site to populate other websites - so "Karaoke Nights" in "Melbourne" might use the data on our site to populate "[login to view URL]".
