I'm an educator and need a website to host files for students to download. I have somewhere around 3gb worth of data (pdfs, podcasts, documents, etc). I was previously using dropbox but wanted a website so that I would have a means of tracking downloads (to see what resources were used frequently, what were ignored). The website needs to have a login to access the downloads (does not need to be unique for each user, one generic password is fine). The website should be simple (lots of white space, very clean looking). Maximum number of students using it would be 500 but I expect much less the first year. I purchased a domain name but while looking for a web hosting service became overwhelmed by the options and realized I needed help. My budget isn't fixed and I'm open to suggestions if there's a better way to achieve my goals.

I have extensive knowledge in web development and creating clean, user-friendly pages. I have no problem with utilizing log in features on sites and am very eager to do a project like this. Also, i have an account on a web hosting service that i could move your domain to and host your website on it for cheaper than what you would regularly find. Also, because I am in Ontario, there a some regulations websites in this area must follow that I am an expert of complying to. This makes the users of your site be able to navigate the website easier, and much more appealing.
