I have excellent experience on CFD simulation of fluid flows in closed pipes and open channels with free-surface. You can check my published research articles conducted by my own computer code, ANSYS CFX and OpenFOAM. My recent studies are on the large eddy simulation of turbulent flows in environmental engineering problems using OpenFOAM. I should also note that OpenFOAM has capabilities on the computation in parallel processing of large number of meshes in order to reduce the simulation time. If you choose me for the project, I'm going to follow 6 steps to conduct the study: 1. Geometry and the computational mesh will be generated according to the geometrical properties and dimensions of the physical domain that you provided. 2. Physical properties of the fluid such as density and viscosity will be identified. 3. Initial conditions will be set. 4. Boundary conditions (inlet, outlet, wall ...) will be applied for the problem. 5. Appropriate solver (steady or unsteady solver) will be selected according to the flow properties within the flow domain. 6. Numerical simulation results (plots, graphics, etc.) will be reported in MS Word file. There will be three main steps for the processing of the project: 1) Pre-processing step (generating geometry, computational domain, initial and boundary conditions) 2) Processing step (numerical simulations will be performed) 3) Post-processing step (plotting results using Excel or TechPlot, reporting numerical results) Thanks Ender
