Require professional editing of my children's story (under 1000 words)

I registered with Freelancer in February this year and have 37 reviews, all positive. English is my first language and my skills include technical writing, editing and proofreading. I have ongoing freelance work editing papers for an online journal for translators and interpreters. I recently edited a 65,000-word science fiction novel and the client was so pleased with my work that he commended me to Freelancer. I have also recently proofread a children's story via Freelancer and the client's review reads, "Professional, on time, joy to work with, will hire again top notch!" Other recent work has included proofreading five theses, as well as individual chapters of academic writing. For two years I was a copy editor for Elsevier Science Publishers in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, rewriting text by authors who were not native English speakers. I have worked with individual clients to bring 12 books to publication and three of these clients have rehired me to work on a second book. Having been a teacher of English in high school for several years, I have spent many hours making corrections and suggestions for students' essays. For six years I have been a member of a writing critique group, regularly reviewing the stories submitted and occasionally writing my own. I edit all the articles my husband writes, which have been published in a number of New Zealand magazines.
