I'm a novice pool player myself and I must admit I'm quite interested in what else have you written :) and now to the business part. I will outline what exactly I can do for you in next few lines. - Reading the book, and giving you insight to your approach and texture can be done relatively fast in 2 days for 50$. As a sample here is a freebie for chapter 1 - here you should concentrate most of what YOU HAVE to offer, instead of what other books are about and who their target-groups are. You do not want to say "my book is better than..." because you are advertising somebody for free (even if you are vague and add "...professional books wrote in professional tone" - because somebody will read it "oh, this is not professional than?"). What you want to say "my book is the best" and there's whole lot of ways to say that. And also, you should only write about what your book IS about and not mention what your readers will not find in it. As much as they know your book is everything there is about pool. Be cocky about it. That's the best way to convince somebody you have quality. - I know you said you're not interested in copy-editing yet, but hell, I've went and done it anyways seeing no harm in advertising myself a little further :) please contact me in order to deliver you copy-edited 1 chapter, free for you to use weather or not you consider hiring me.
