Give Me Your Best Hourly Rate For Ongoing Audio Transcription Since I am willing to pay well (NOT OVERPAY), you need to know what I am looking for in THE PERSON for this job. I worked for 2 years with the last transcriber. She moved on. I am looking at working with somebody long term. The first thing that I will be looking at is your review score. If it is below 9.8, I will NOT be considering your services even if you offer to work FREE of cost. This may come across as being HARSH & BLUNT, but I would prefer to be FRANK and upfront and not waste your time and mine. Now to the job... The project consist of short audio files - ranging anywhere between 1-10 audio files each being 2mins-7mins. We need these files transcribed overnight with minimal error. If you have a good grasp of the English language, the chances of errors will be very less as the files have been dictated into very slowly. Please quote me your hourly rate. I need the transcribed files to be returned into a for the next day (Instructions available on video for the selected freelancer). This job will require a PC and cannot be done on a MAC as the transcription has to go into forms which are compatible only with a PC.

I am a London trained transcriber and proofreader currently based in South Africa. I think I am qualified for the job, I have done transcriptions before in English, you can see the review of my last job done, and see the evidence in the portfolio, I am very dedicated worker, I might be new here in freelancer and I might not have that many reviews yet but of something I am sure, I know that you won't be disappointed, the last job I did here in freelancer was transcribing 11 episodes of a podcast 20 minutes each it took me about 2 hours for each, so if we are talking for 10 recordings I think I can finish them in not more than 3 or 4 hours max.
