DataAnnotation is good but Creating a manual ValidationContext is bit Pain, is it not? Please do not award now, as some technical tricks I can foresee here. You want to do a small part but for the future we need to plan about the complete architecture fist. Otherwise we will not get the rest work from your client, is it not. I want to discuss with you regarding the requirement so please let me know when we can chat. I would suggest to do the database work in WCF service. Your aim is to re-use the code then WCF Service will take care of the database work and we can use it from both the version, what do you say? Probably it will save some time and we will be able to avoid the complexity as well. By the way, DataAnnotation is mostly used for data validation, I think I am right. Regarding wpfMDI, I will not commit now. I am working on it so that I can confirm it would not affect on the platform we are planning to use. I will commit when I will make a small demo here with using DataAnnotation and the wpfMDI, please bear with me until our next discussion. Can you please let me know the below queries: 1. Would your client will use the desktop version for multiple desktop? 2. Is there will be any local DB for saving the data in local? 3. If there is any local db then is there will be any option to synchronize the data with the mother database server?
