Blackberry Prototype Mail and Instant Messaging

To develop a blackberry interface that can login to our in-house messaging (email/instant messaging) system. The messaging systemm is currently running in Linux platform and all data for the messaging is stored in postgresql or oracle or mysql. This simple prototyping is to allow user to login to the their accounts using given account userid and password in the database and display their messages (title only). Communication between user and server can be in both encrypted and non-encrypted format. This should be similar to blackberry gmail apps (gmail) except we do not use pop3 or smtp server to push the emails. All messages as mentioned before are stored in the database directly. Successful bidder will get the full integration contract that will be able to display, retrieve and reply messages between the registered users. The full integration will include similar apps such as gmail, gtalk and calendaring.
