I design Fire Alarm Systems over 10 years, in Romania, for industrial, civil and residential. I have a romanian CNSPIC certification for designing. I have great experience in fire alarm system i'm already done a lot of jobs with BOSCH, SIEMENS, FITICH, INIM fire alarm system. Fire alarm system will protect following areas with selection and allocation of detectors. -all rooms which from technical reason aren’t protected by sprinkler system (room with electrical devices etc.), - all the stairways, - all the elevator shafts on a vertical distance of one or two floors (cca. 6,5 m), - Installation shafts of mechanical and other installations which aren’t protected by sprinkler system on a vertical distance of one or two floors (cca. 6,5 m). Areas that won’t be protected by the fire alarm system: sanitary facilities without storages and spaces between ceilings to distance of 0,8 m where electrical installation channels route don’t pass. There are foreseen: •optical smoke automatic detector – for public, office, and technological places where is expected smolder fire source, •dual criterion optical-thermal automatic detector – where beside expected smolder fire source also can occur higher temperature (substations and rooms with numerous number of electrical dividers), •thermal automatic detector – for technological places where is possibility of appearance higher temperature because of the fire. According to (DIN 0833 part 2) batteries are dimensioned in the way they can provide fire alarm system functionality with 80% of the capacity in a normal condition 30 hours and another 30 minutes in a state of alarm systems.
