Hello potential boss! This could be one of my first jobs on Freelancer and I'd actually love to have it be in the video game genre! I've been a gamer for quite a while (At the very least 16 years!) and I know quite a bit! Right now I'm embarking on the latest entry in the series of Dark Soul, in it's latest piece of DLC. I have countless of hours in World of Warcraft, but I still have spent commanding armies in nerve wracking wars across planets in Starcraft and Supreme Commander as well as the same battlefield over and over again in Dota and League of Legends as well as the various Cods. However, I also spent plenty-a-time roleplaying and writing my own short stories about those worlds and characters as well as having a gander about stories and the such. As an aspiring game designer, I'd love to have a crack at the prospect of writing for a game. Writing in plain English shouldn't be a problem either. It's not that hard to write stuff more simply and in lower language. I would also like to mention I know quite a bit and follow about today's gaming industry. I know that it's currently aimed at four major control groups. Kids and elderly, 8+ and teens and adults. DOOM being a particular game aimed at adults while say Call of Duty, a game of the same genre aimed at teens and children. Both PC games mind you, who wants to shoot with a controller? You're not going to find a bigger MMORPG/RPG nerd than me, with over 10 years of gaming experience (dating back to middle school where all the cutesy JRPG's were the rage, not that it's any less today) to today's FFXIV, Black Desert Online, Dragon Nest, Vindictus, so many more. If you can't stay ahead of the trend and get ahold of the hype (and sometimes severe overhyping) you can't find the next favorite game. Also, I have beta-testing experience for Nexon, Perfect World, a few Korea-based games that are region locked so I probably shouldn't say and much more. Why should you hire me?
