I am a full stack developer with 10 years of experience. I manage 3 of my own servers, 2 of them are Linux boxes. Everday for the past 3 and a half years, I have worked using Rails and I encounter migrations on a weekly basis, so I'm confident I can get this done in a few hours from starting.

I have good experience with Heroku and private linux servers. I can do this task two different ways (in case you'll need to update your RoR app later in the future): 1) Heroku-like deployment of your RoR app to your new Linux server. I would set up Dokku on your linux server, which allows for a simple Git push to the server to just completely deploy, build and run your updated app. It's completely like Heroku. This is especially good if you're planning to run a few different web apps on the same server. 2) Old fashioned way. I set up a RoR server on your linux server, where you can just FTP transfer your updated RoR app files, and then execute the commands like "bundle install; rake db:migrate" and so on. Good choice if you don't plan on updating your app much. So here's what I offer. I will, of course, transfer the RoR app for you and complete all the other necessary configurations and commands and make sure he app is running as intended.
