Investigate the requirements for a college register system (or subsystem) which would benefit from “computerisation” and produce analysis & design documentation. The system should meet the college register system requirements Briefly describe the project explaining the benefits of “computerisation”. Produce two sample requirement catalogue entries for the new system, this should explain two of the operations that the system should be able to perform, obviously one of these is the marking of a register and you should describe how these are to be accomplished. Produce a context diagram for the existing system including all operations that the proposed system should do. Produce a dataflow diagram for your system. Take one of the processes and produce a detailed process description using an appropriate technique. Draw an ERD (Entity Relationship Diagram) (sometimes called a Logical Data Model (LDM) / Logical Data Structure (LDS)) which provides full details of the attributes and tables to be used. Use diagrams and/or prototypes to explain and justify your proposed GUI (Graphical User Interface) designs for the system. Design and deliver a 5 - 10 minute presentation to an audience of your peers and tutor explaining your project and your proposed system.
