I have a website that needs to be redirected to a virtual directory in IIS7. The virtual directory is an application with its own App Pool. The website is not the default web site but its own separate one. A sub-domain with its own IP address is bound to the site but when you go to it using IE, the II7 default page appears. You have to enter the <> in order to get the proper page to appear. I just want people to go to <> and have them redirectored to the virtual folder. My guess is that you're probably looking at an hour of time at the most for this effort.

I have a php website using a mysql db. I want my website to use a MSSQL db. So I want to change any scripting in the php file to make this happen. I already have the MSSQL DB structure setup similar to the MYSQL. I am willing/considering transfering my php files to a windoes server/iiS7 (where the MSSSQL db is at), if necessary. They only thing is the worker will not have access to the new/old wensite server. I will provide php files and a sql file of the db structure to recreate on their on server and will return files with me just having to change the for the server name and password.

I'm currently using IIS7 to run a MU online private server websites () it is using the cms mucore. I believe its using old connection methods for (mssql2000 and mssql2005) but no compatible with the new sqlsrv connections. I managed to get it work with xampp using this guide only took the dll (didn't do the connect method etc) but it hasn't work for iis7. does anyone understand my issue ?

I have recenlty setup a Windows Hosting account with GoDaddy with IIS7 and ASP.Net 4.0 enabled. We had someone install SMTP server on the machine (using gmail account) to send outgoing emails for files that were created by PHP application.
