Well, firstly, congratulations on your new acquisition! I imagine that owning a magazine must be pretty exhilarating (that is, when it is not nerve-wracking). Judging from the long list of bidders, it is pretty safe to assume that many writers are clamouring for the chance to be a part of your project. And, why not? After all, the mere mention of the word 'magazine' leaves us writers in a bit of a tizzy!
Amongst all these more experienced writers, why on earth would you choose me or at least pick me to be a part of your writing stable? After all, my profile clearly shows that I am new to this website and new to freelancing. It goes against my ethics to 'sell' you experience that I don't have!
So, we return again to the question, why should you hire me to work for you? I believe my newness is my advantage. I am hear to learn, more than I am here to earn. Experience is more important to me than money. I have put my career in teaching on hold so that I may pursue my dream, that is to write. Moreover, to write for a living. I am empowering myself to follow my bliss and it feels good. I know fashion and I know empowerment. Not a day goes by without me reading up on areas of interest in both. My professional background has groomed my inherent discipline and thus I am a great respecter of deadlines and will provide a quick turnaround. I very much hope that you will give me the opportunity to work for you and show you what I can do. I look forward to hearing from you.
