Web Design for Club Sports Site

We are building an exciting new site for local sport clubs and schools to manage their day to day activities - fixtures, meets, events, club/player management etc.
We're looking for experienced designers to collaborate with a flat mobile first design template. Ideal candidates should have an interest and at least basic understanding of sports such as soccer, cricket & rugby. The ideal candidate will be experienced in taking complex (boring) forms and making them appealing to the eye as this site is largely a data entry and presentation style site.
As it stands the site is a shell built using bootstrap css and php's laravel framework - so knowledge of this framework is also helpful as you'll be dealing with some pre-populated pages. The data is there, but it's time to make the site appealing to users! By using bootstrap we hope to avoid any tedious custom grid frameworks, and hopefully fast track the design process.
We have multiple examples of leading similar sports sites, however we want to bring it to more people by simplifying the design and presentation of the site. As it stands a favourite of ours for design purposes is [login to view URL] - simple coulour scheme, clear data presentation.
