We're looking for a high-end e-commerce store. Some features we're looking to incorporate into site:
online shopping cart must be integrate with current website, [login to view URL] can send site if needed.
Preferred environment for development of this application is, PHP/MySQL.
It should be able to capture customer details and allow the admin of the website
to regularly update the product descriptions, price of items, images of items etc.
The website should allow the customers to login or use a guest account to purchase items. When,
under the registered user or guest account, from the home page, the users should be able to add
items to the cart and it should immediately update the total price and items in the cart which should appear in the top right of all pages on the site.
The use of sessions is desirable and should be appropriately controlled.
It should also withstand hacking attacks and a secure https connections will be used
throughout the purchase process.
At the check out stage the website should be able to capture a valid email address and possibly
a phone number to contact the user. When the user clicks the check out it should go to a payment gateway to process the
payment(an external website most likely a Paypal account), after which control should be handed back to the website.
Once the user finalized the payment an email should be sent to the user with the order details as well as the admin.
Discount and promotional features
Starting with 100-150 products
Also should have the functionality like out of stock and discount [login to view URL] cart should be fully functional at the end of the project.

a - the site exists already, would have to be edited to incorporate a shopping cart, so the only additional page will be the shop www.inklingit.co.za is the current site.
b - mobile friendly would be a plus

d - Yes a CMS would be needed.
