Setting up Secondary DNS Server for domain.

I have a website a host at hostgator dedicated server and domain at Godaddy, Recently i find out that hostgator is getting lots of problems in maintaining there promise of 99% uptime, so i purchased Premium DNS service at godaddy to add Secondry DNS Server,

So i want my [url removed, login to view] to be open on primary server at hostgator and if any error on hostgator then my godaddy hosting will open the backup error page.

There are settings here: [url removed, login to view]

But i am unable to understand how to work around this.

Need some assistance, Who guide me step by step on how to setup Secondry DNS, So on Failure it will redirect website to backup server.

I will not share any real names or passwords, you just have to assists me and i will always hide important names.
