We are looking for a news reader for our news website, [url removed, login to view], focusing on peace-related news stories from around the world.
We need someone to be the face of our news stories, and appear as our news anchor (similar to AJ+ news clips). We have over 20,000 followers, reach 100,000 people weekly, and this could be a great place to launch your newsreading career.
You must be an eloquent English speaker, able to record clear, professional VIDEO footage of yourself reading our news text (which we will provide - usually around 300 words).
The onus will be on you to video record and send through the footage, (the video doesn't have to be studio professional, just clear), with an appropriate general background (city-scape, news room, study/bookshelves) for us to mix with our "on the ground" footage for the stories.
An experienced journalist or reporter is preferred, and examples of your previous work, or being willing to send through a demo of the attached text, is ideal.
There is definitely the potential for ongoing work for the right person.
