About our youtube channel:

Our Youtube channel documents our sailing adventure around the World. Our videos are divided into 4 categories:

- Sailing videos: in which we document a sail from point A to point B (about 70% of our content)

- Technical corner & product reviews: where we explain maintenance procedures, technical upgrades and review sailing related products.

- Boatlife debunked: in which we show and explain different aspects of living on a boat

- You ask, we answer: in which we answer questions from our subscribers.

This winter, I am reworking the branding of our channel, starting off with our video graphics.

For our Youtube channel, we are looking at a motion graphic artist/graphic designer with a great artistic sense to develop all the graphics we need for our Youtube Channel from an After Effect template that we will provide (Paper World). We are looking for someone who can give our videos a brand, by creating original, unique and beautiful graphics. We are looking at THE motion graphic designer / graphic designer who we will work with on a long-term basis, for all of our graphics.

If it works, we will need you for our banner, thumbnails and even websites graphics.

For now, we specifically want:

- An Intro: Max 4 seconds, featuring the name of our channel, and a subtitle that we can customize. Ideally, I’d like that introduction in 2 versions: one that I can use as an overlay on top of a clip, and one that I can use separately.

- Transitions: We are looking for a couple of transitions featuring the After Effect template that we can easily insert in our videos. Ideally, those transition would be accompanied by a sound effect.

- Exit screen: The exit screen of our Youtube channel is featured in the last 30 seconds of the video, and offers the viewer more videos to watch as well as the possibility to subscribe.

- Logbook entry (time, coordinates, location, notes): every now and then, our videos feature a logbook entry during which we insert the time it is, the coordinates we are at, the name of the location and some notes. I typically insert those on the bottom-left hand corner of the videos.. We are looking for an on-screen graphic with paper texture to easily insert those log-entries. The after effect template has a few of those “timeline”elements, and I would like them adjusted to feature the typewriter font provided, as well as a light and a dark version that I can use on “day light”clips and “night” clips.

- Map that can be animated: We typically start our sailing videos by showing where we are and where we are going. Our next two years will be spent in the Mediterranean and I am looking specifically for a map of this area. The map can be a photoshop map that I can animate myself in Premiere, but if you know of a technical solution to make this map a graphic that I can use in Premiere, I’ll take it. I would like the map to feature the Paper texture, no city names, and be monochromatic (grey on a white-beige paper texture works, but if you feel something else would look good, I’ll take it :)) I am looking at easily insert a pin and the name of the place we depart from, animated dots or dashes that stretch until the place we are going to.
