Maintain and debug Android player app

I am looking for a skilled android developer who can maintain, update and debug 2 existing android apps. also i would like you to think with me in the process of building this app, give advice if something is a good idea or not and tell me what is possible and what not and tell me if my idea's will actually work or not.

There are 2 apps right now:

1 player app; this app plays a list of media with a ticker tape (scrolling text) at the bottom and every X minutes it downloads new media if there is any available. in the settings screen the user should set their username and password and select a playlist that they want to show.

2 monitor app; this app makes sure that the player app keeps running from a certain time until a certain time, for example, from 07:00 till 23:00 the player app should always be active and running, from 23:00 till 07:00 the service and process of the player app should be stopped, so that it allows the play-store to auto update the player app incase there is a update.

it runs fairly well but there are som minor problems that need to be fixed;

- if the playlist run by the player app contains some video's after a day or 2 it starts glitching out the video's and the video's freeze at random points, when i restart the device everything runs smooth again.


- if there is not internet connection the media does not play (even tough the media items are offline available) and just shows a black screen.
