prestashop fix error in advance search module filter

we have a prestashop site, version 1.6. We need to fix some error in search module.
1) Once you select an option on the search module, and then if you refresh the page, or click on back button, the search module section dissappears. This needs to be fixed
2) Change some css files to modify the appearance of search module filter and some other display option changes like showing as text, the value of filter option selected. Also search menu options should expand automatically on mouse over and collapge on mouse out.
3) On mouse hover over a product, in category pages, the prodcut images change. However once a user has selected a search filter, and if he does mouse hover, then this does not happen.
