Hello,
We are looking for a Prestashop 1.7 module developer to integrate it on our website and possibly market it to other Prestashop users afterwards.
The idea is to develop a module that will allow basic functionality on most car/motorcycle websites: FILTER BY VEHICLE MODEL
Here are the important elements:
- It must be possible to filter the products available in the shop by model (for example: Motorcycle > Suzuki > Bandit 600 > 1999).
- The filter must be able to cover the whole shop, not just one category.
- The most important point: it must be possible to save the vehicle throughout the user's navigation on the shop. This means that it must not reset when the user changes categories.
- Compatible models must be able to appear on the product sheet, at the bottom of the page, as: "Compatible on : "This will allow a value to be linked to the filter results.
- For universal products, they will have to appear in the results, without having to specify all the models on the product sheet.
- Unfortunately, Prestashop's native "attributes & characteristics" functionality cannot be used because it only uses 2 rows (for example: Brand > Model).
- It must be possible to easily integrate and associate the list of models via Excel in bulk and via the module (dropdown menu for example), preferably in an additional tab on the product sheet in the BO.
- The filter must be very simple and ergonomic on mobile version.
- It must be possible to delete the filtered template with one click.
- The number of selection filters should be easily adjustable (e.g. Type > Brand > Model > Year or only Brand > Model. It also requires the modification of the Excel fields for mass import.
- The text fields on the FE should be easily customisable. We will take care of the translations of the BO fields into other languages.
- To be placed under the top-menu on Computer and under the search box on Mobile.
