I'm a Fleet Operation Manager for a transportation company in Burlingame. One of my responsabilities is to help schedule our vehicles for their due maintenance. We currently have 724 vehicles. We serve different companies such us Facebook, Tesla, LinkedIn and many others.
I'm currently using an excel sheet to keep track of all the vehicles that need to go in for their due maintenance by account. I want to automate this. One of the ideas I have if this is possible to create a database where i can input (schedule) the vehicles and this is can be link to a calendar where this can be view as one. Once the schedule is done this goes to the controllers that schedule drivers to get the buses to the shops. I also want to create reminders/notifications that will be trigger during the day to help the controllers keep track of what was sent or not. If its forgotten i will need to re-schedule this.
I attach an example of what we currently are using. At work we use share point.
