Google Map with tabs to show different points

Hello,
I have a database of several different points of interests which are categorized.
all will have co-ordinates. I need a Google Map created with tabs which will show that category of points. It will be something similiar to
the functionality of [login to view URL]
When you click on the map it gives you a popup.
Database contains all info to be shown. Map also needs to be fast loading.
Please provide examples of Google Maps you have completed only.
