i.e.

Sao Paulo, Sao Paulo, Brazil
Sydney, New South Wales, Australia
In the white space show a static, vertical list of '100 Most Popular places' (20 in visible list, rest hidden in Javascript, but in HTML source, flaps open when user clicks)
Also show list of 100 Nearby Places (to the one location user views right now, 20 visible in list rest hidden in JS, but in HTML source),
