Help With Installation of VTIGER CRM

I am learning VTIGER CRM. I tried installing it on Windows.

However I got an error message that "Unable to connect with the mySQL? Database. Connection parameters invalid".

I tried looking through the Forums and tried few things.

However I am unable to go past this error message.

Few of the things I tried e.g.

hostname:portNumber

used local host instead. Also tried the IP address:? 127.0.0.1 etc etc.\

Also tried using different port number.... Still getting this error.

You must be very good in MySql and Apache to be able to help me with this.

## Deliverables

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
