betting rating spreadsheet

to collect data from certain websites and analyse and enter into various columns in the spreadsheet to allow me to come up with ratings for each horse, scrape or stream betting data from betfair, and import csv files to certain columns. I use excel 2007 now but if there is a better way of doing this I am open to any ideas

## Deliverables

At the minute I have an excel 2007 spreadsheet but I am open to any ideas that would do what I want or keep to the excel spreadsheet.

What I want is to have this data collected analysed and totalled up as in the spreadsheet to give me a rating for each racehorse and streaming or scraped betfair WIN AND PLACE prices for all the races I am working on that day where I can take a snapshot of all or individual races at user defined time the results of the snapshots appear in columns labeled 10 10 10 10 end end and the variance is displayed in column bet str in % to show how much the price has moved in or out.

At the min I input data via copy and paste ,manually type data in and have 2 csv files the data is imported in via the columns at the bottom of the sheet eg massey into massey , hbr speed into same column etc the racing post data is at the min entered manually into there columns in the enter values column and the betfair data is not entered yet but has to go in the first 6 columns labelled 10 10 10 10 end end

if you log in to [[url removed, login to view]][1] my log in is micky password nuinbase then you click on select race then for each race I rate I do this .....select tool ...= RATINGS then you open the drop down box and depending on the distance/type of the race if its a jump race you click mickys new jump ratings if its a 1 mile race you select correct ratings for that race then apply then we need to import all those figures into the spreadsheet equivalant hrbas column then sort them into best to worst order using 1 as best and the number of participants = worst then for the same race where it says ratings you click on the drop down box and select speed analysis then go and again use the figures in the left hand column in the box to go into the spreadsheet hrbas speed in best to worst order,

for the massey site <[url removed, login to view]> again you click on ratings for that day then select which races ( handicaps ) and import those ratings into spreadsheet masse, in best to worst order ( which they already are and where there is a some stars at the side of the top rated horse the number of stars = the same value to be imported into 1t/It ma column.

on the racing post site [[url removed, login to view]][2] select main site then you log in davegoodman61, password nuinpost then select a race meeting then select a handicap race click on it and the race opens up and for each handicap race that day I import rpr ratings in best to worse order into post ratin column in spreadsheet,, topspeed in best to worst order into post speed in spreadsheet, tips into bbet/btip column in spreadsheet, and at the righthand side of some riders there is a number in brackets I import those into jock allowance in spread sheet. At the top of each race in line with the time it says the going GD, GD SOFT FIRM etc I want to import those into spreadsheet where it says type going code USING THE abbreviations at the very top of the enter values column ,

the first 6 columns on the spreadsheet are where I want to import the betting as a live stream or a scrape from [url removed, login to view] or <[url removed, login to view]> I only need the best win price and the best place price nothing else and need a snapshot of the price at user defined times at intervals that I can adjust, basically it will be at about 11 in the morning about one hour before the first handicap race of the day ( which is different every day and about half an hour before race is due off. when the betting as described above is being done it has to be able to get the prices for every race on the spreadsheet not just one race, then fill in the columns 10 10 10 10 end end then the variance of the price is imported into bet str as a %.

I also import a csv file with all stats in from a dataform database installed on pc I want to import a csv file from <[url removed, login to view]> and manually import data from an installed raceform prog on my pc

I have uploaded a blank spreadsheet and a filled in spreadsheet to give you an idea and also upladed the csv file I use to paste data form data
