Code written to do the following in Outlook 2003+, using Redemption code (only where necessary, primarily address book and getting complete info on received msg)

Using VB.net CLR1.1 .

**Just need code snippets to do the following to use as a sample, NOT a complete application.

**

1. Startup Outlook, if not already running.

2. Create a new message item in Outlook, choose a pre-built signature, send the msg (check if addressee is in Outlook address book, add if not already there) Probably only access to address book needs Redemption, not the rest of it. However, perhaps if any sub needs Redemption for any of its processing, then the entire sub should just be done with Redemption code.

3. Retreive details (including Outlook's UID) of incoming new message when received.(including sender's real email address). 4. Retrieve folder ID and details of message (including Outlook's UID) when msg moved to another folder.

5. Retrieve details of msg when sent

6. Retrieve updated info on added or changed address book entry (needs Redemption, for sure).

7. The code below currently works on my system. I am providing it to show what works in my current environment.

I would also like to have it rewritten with Redemption to demo how to use Redemption in a simple example.

Private Sub btnButton1_Click(ByVal sender As [url removed, login to view], ByVal e As [url removed, login to view]) Handles [url removed, login to view]

Dim oL As New [url removed, login to view]

Dim oItem As [url removed, login to view]

oItem = [url removed, login to view]([url removed, login to view])

[url removed, login to view] = "subj"

[url removed, login to view] = [url removed, login to view]

[url removed, login to view] = (vbCrLf + vbCrLf + "Attach: " + [url removed, login to view])

[url removed, login to view] = "testCC"

[url removed, login to view]("c:\[url removed, login to view]")

[url removed, login to view]()

End Sub
