Bid job is for a few things... but all in same general category. This could lead to on-going work for dependable sole and who ever is considered will be researched (no newbies please). We have located 2 new servers in-house (actually more, but the others run a different OS). This job is on: IBM server, running RH 7.2 (distribution disc) and a poor mans machine HP Celeron also running RH 7.2 We need someone to update software packages (and configure correctly for best security) on both: MySQL Apache Sendmail PHP Bind And any other package that is security updated. (kernel upgrade may be nessesary, which our local tech will help with nessesary re-boots). Also, first server will need to be set up as NameServer for 3-4 domains. Base configureation needed, we can add zone files. Second server, needs to be set up as a back up certain directories of the first server. Will need one script to be written to compress server 1 files and FTP/SSH/PUT (essentialy what every protocal you choose) to the celeron machine. I have tried to provide enough information in this bid posting to secure competative bid, and to help you determine your qualifications before offering services. (so naturally, more info upon request or on choosing programmer). Again, this will lead to on-going work if it is done right the first time.
