The SwishMax (from <[url removed, login to view]>), movieclip called "child".

The Flash (from Macromedia) parent movie is called "parent".

Properties of the child:

The Child is a question in an e-learning system.

The child is an interaction movie which has a static image and a static sound.

It has 2 hit areas.

a) The background (is invisible)

b) The foreground (is invisible).

The child will return data to the parent.

The parent will load the child, but the child is stopped until further.

The parent will pass some parameters into the child.

1. Response sound filename no 1.

2. Response sound filename no 2.

3. Response sound filename no 3.

The parent starts the child.

Now the child will be able to receive clicks via the mouse.

If the click is correct (hit the foreground hit area)

the Response sound no 1 is played.

The A green frame will be shown around the foreground hit area to mark the correct answer.

If the click is not correct (A hit on the background hit area), the Response sound no 2 is played. If the background hit area is hit again the Response sound no 3 is played and a red frame will be shown around the foreground hit area to mark the correct answer.

Once the interaction is completed a status variable is returned to the parent, to indicate the status and the result of the answer.

Sounds and images will be provided by me.
