The ebook front cover that I need you to create is the first in a series of ebook covers that will need to be designed over the coming days. The ebook covers will all need to look similar, yet be different. An example that I like is attached (please note that this is an example only, as the colours used are not our brand colours). What I like about this example, however, is how each ebook number stands out and that the ebooks are clearly a series by the same author. The title of the ebooks is clear and prominent, and they are visually pleasing to the eye.
The ebook front covers, once created, will later to be used to create a spread of books, again as shown in the attached example. For this reason, we need this particular ebook cover to have a spine in our hot pink brand colour. Later ebook covers will have spines and wording in diffferent colours.
The product that we will be selling is a series of ebooks about weight loss. This particular ebook front cover is the first in that series. The target market is 18-60yr old English, Australian, American & European women wanting to lose weight.
The ebook front cover will definitely need to incorporate the following elements:
Words: "Weight Loss Success package" (ideally at the top), "1: Healthy Eating Plan" (in hot pink, ideally at the bottom, making the number '1' stand out)
Images: an image of a girl (supplied), a logo (supplied)
Colours: hot pink / orange / white (as used in the logo, as well as in a banner that will also be supplied)
Font: same or similar to the logo
Spine: hot pink colour
The ebook front cover may also incorporate the following elements, if you feel they are needed. They are optional and the flexibility will be yours entirely, depending on how the ebook cover looks once designed:
Words (as you will see on the attached example, there are a series of tiny little words at the bottom of the cover, not really visible but still there. If you wish to follow the same format, here are some words you can use): "FIT" "HEALTHY" "GORGEOUS" "SKINNY JEANS" "BIKINI" "AWESOME" "HOT PANTS" "LITTLE RED DRESS"
Images: images of fruit (one supplied, more to come if needed - we have an account with Dreamstime)
