The app's goal is to use Bluetooth headphones as sort of hearing aids, with the iPhone's microphone as the microphone for the aids. It needs to be able to continue to work even when the phone turns off. The headphones are connected to the iPhone by Bluetooth. Ideally, the sound would have limited lag. The app would play sound, heard by the iPhone speaker into the Bluetooth headphones directly.
