Android ISM Bluetooth Write an application to restrict channel hopping

Normally, Android phones emit at ISM, 2.4Ghz-2.48Ghz. And Bluetooth emits 72 separate channels.

We want you to write an Android app for Samsung which will asynchrously broadcast some data over some channels, and broadcast other data over different channels.

There are a variety of ways you might do this.

For example, you might write a program which will broadcast some data over channels 1-20, and will broadcast other data over channels 61-79.

Or you could broadcast some data over the lower GUARD BAND of 2Mhz at the bottom of the Bluetooth spectrum, and you could broadcast other data over the upper GUARD BAND of 3.5 Mhz at the top of the Bluetooth spectrum.

Or you could implement Broadcast mode, and Broadcast mode the data. Or Beacon

Or you could restrict the hopping to Channels 1-20 for some data, and restrict the hopping to Channels 61-79 for other data.

Or you could define some of the data as Low Energy, and hop around channels 1-40; and the rest of the data as channels 41-79.

Why do we want to restrict the Bluetooth emissions?

Energy harvesting.

We have designed antennas that harvest energy around 2.40 Ghz - 2.42 Ghz; and we have designed antennas that harvest energy around 2.46Ghz and 2.48Ghz.

The app you write will cause an Android to wirelessly drive a simple one pixel indicator.

The antenna will capture the electromagnetic energy from the Android, and use the energy to excite a single pixel.

After we successfully test the new app, we will want you to do another Freelancer project, and write a UX to allow the Android user to control the transmission.
