Indoor Positioning System (Locating a Wifi device using RSSI)
$750-1500 USD
Paid on delivery
We need to have the position of a wireless device (Wi-Fi 2.4GHz/5.8GHz) inside a building where we spread out many Raspberry Pi 4.
So, using a triangulation location (or any effective method) could be one of the solutions taking into consideration that we have already used the Fine3 algorithm. Beacons' response too can be considered.
Also, you can consider WPS (Wi-Fi Positioning System) with RSSI. We can consider directional antennas for example.
Another solution would be using GPS as an IPS (Indoor Positioning System). As it's inside a building, there is no direct GPS signal.
The solution should be cost-effective as well.
In the end, we should have a PoC with 3 or 4 Raspberries Pi4 locating a device with an accuracy of less than one meter.
This should be done in a blueprint, show graphically the device.
Any questions, please let me know.
Note: Raspberry is running Raspbian.
