Develop a ModbusTCP/RTU to UDP bridge

The application should continuously read/poll different data from a device. The values should be stored in memory and send via a UDP command to another network destination, if values have changed. Both Modbus TCP and RTU need to be implemented for reading data from the devices.

Platform:

- Raspberry Pi

Destinationparameters:

- IP address

- IP Port

- Sourceparameters:

- application internal sourceID

- Modbus interface: TCP or RTU

- Interfacebindung: certain NIC or serial port

- TCP server IP-address

- TCP server slave ID

- RTU slave ID

- Modbus registers, data format and polling interval in ms

- Send value as UDP command at least each in seconds

- Send value on change as UDP command: true/false

UDP Command: <sourceID> <register#>=<value>

- The may be different UDP destinations which may receive the Modbus data from certain devices and certain registers

- Implementation as script (may be Python or node.js)

- Configuration can be done by a text file (no UI frontend necessary)

- Devices at the Modbus e.g.:

- Values must not be stores permanently. e.g. in a DB

- Modbus RTU interface will be: [login to view URL] or DSD TECH USB zu RS485 RS422 Konverter Adapter FTDI FT232 Chip for Windows 10, 8, 7, XP and Mac OS X
