I need a contract drawn up, following UK law, to provide to clients with whom I take on Freelance projects. This contract needs to state, along with all the typical terms set, that I retain all copyright status, and that the client, is free to use the product entirely in their organisation. However, the use of the product does not cover parent, or sister, organisations. The organisation also cannot sell the product, without paying an additional fee (copyright acquisition fee), set at 20% of the project fee, with the fee set to a minimum of £200 GBP. Any support will be granted for the first 30 days after completion free of charge. This is limited to issues with the original code. This does not include compatibility conflicts with software installed after the completion. Any changes in code, made by the client, will void such free-of-charge offerings. After 30 days, support will be billable at an hourly rate negotiated (if nothing is stated, £25 per hour).
