Google search - SEO - tune up of my oscommerce shop

I have an osCommerce store: www.ministryhelps.com.
In the past few months sales have went down, down, down.
I know the economy is bad and sales are slow in the summer, but I feel something else has to be wrong.
My search results in Google are consistently lower than they were a year ago.
Also in Google I submit 2700 pages for indexing and only 9 or indexed from the sitemap.
Now of course all my pages show up in Google search but some of them are 40, 50 and 60 deep.
So I don't need individual page SEO work, I am doing that.
What I need is general work on the osCommerce store that is running SEO URL 5 by forward media.
AND work on getting my pages in Google's index through our site mat that SEO URL 5 is producing.
We need better search engine results from our overall website performance.
You must know osCommerce inside and out to work on this project.
