Repair Core Data fetch code across many-to-many in Swift 3, Xcode 8 (latest beta)

I'm new to Xcode/Swift development and need assistance in accessing Core Data properties across a many to many relationship. I'm performing a fetch on one table, but trying to filter (via predicate) the results based on properties on the related to-many table.

I've read dozens of articles and stackoverflow posts, and I understand the concept of treating this as two to-many relationships to access the properties. But in a one-to-many relationship, the relationship property matches the type of the related entity, this giving me direct access to the properties. In the many-to-many scenario, that relationship property is an NSSet and does not let me access the properties (as most of the stackoverflow posts suggests that it should). Thus, I'm sure I'm doing something wrong.

I will provide a zip file with the Xcode project. I would like you to change/update my code to deliver the intended result and return the zip file.
