Build a Wordpress Website by Transferring Existing Files

I built a Wordpress website on GoDaddy host for clients but they want the site to be hosted by Yahoo as they already have an account. I downloaded the wp admin, includes and content and then uploaded the files to the Yahoo server but they website will not display. I also have the database as a .gz file saved on my computer. In sum, I need a website built by transferring existing files from an already built site on different host server. Yahoo does not allow .htaccess files and I have 8 related files involving .htaccess that failed to upload to the Yahoo account.
I have all the files uploaded to the server so this should be a quick project where I am walked through the process putting wordpress files where they belong and database (if needed - the site does not have any comments or blog posts yet so I am not sure if I need to use the database from old site).
