Looking for an experienced electronics engineer to design a schematic in Altium Designer that will use RS485 to join a master Arduino controller to multiple slave Arduinos. Each slave should have a total of 75 digital GPIOs using shift registers. 25 digital inputs and 50 digital outputs. The design should contain all components in a library with a focus on high reliability and low cost. Please include with your design schematics for the master hat/shied and one slave hat/shield. PCB layout is not required. The type of Arduinos is up to you although low cost is preferred, even if the slaves are bare ATmega chips with no USB.
